Terms of use

Last updated: October 14, 2026

By using Matcher News you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

Matcher News keeps your account's RSS/Atom subscriptions and makes them available to the agents you connect through an MCP server. Each account can have up to 100 feeds, and server usage has limits to protect the service.

Third-party content

Articles, headlines and trademarks belong to their publishers. We pass on what each site publishes in its own feed, with its original link.

We keep what each feed publishes for 30 days (title, excerpt and, when the feed includes it, the full text), only so that the agents of the people who follow that feed can search and read it after it leaves the feed. We never keep text extracted from pages. Publishers can ask us not to keep their content by writing to hello@matcher.news: we exclude it and delete what was kept within 24 hours.

When the feed only publishes an excerpt, Matcher News may read that article's public page and hand the extracted text only to the agent that asked for it, in that response, with the original link and a note to attribute it to the site. That text isn't published, isn't shown on any page and isn't stored. Using it within the publisher's rights is up to you and your agent.

Our reader identifies itself as MatcherNews-Reader and honors robots.txt and the noai, none, noindex and noarchive directives. Publishers who don't want us to read their pages can block it in robots.txt or ask us to exclude their site by writing to hello@matcher.news; details are at /bot.

The content of the feeds isn't ours and we don't review it. Your agent must treat it as third-party information.

Your agents

You decide which agents you connect and you can disconnect them in Connections. You're responsible for how you use the agent and for what the agent does with your feeds following your instructions.

Acceptable use

You may not abuse the service, circumvent its limits, attempt unauthorized access or use it for illegal activities.

Your account

You sign in with Google and you're responsible for keeping that account secure. You can delete your account at any time from your account menu; deletion is final. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as is and may change or be interrupted. If we change these terms in a significant way, we'll update this page.
